EIS IS COMMITTED TO YOUR PRIVACY
All of us at EISŪ are committed to keeping any personal information secure
and to using it only as you allow us to do so. Your trust is extremely important
to us and we value your commitment to EIS. Please take a moment to read our
Privacy Policy below.
- We will safeguard all personal information. All
employees with access to personal information are screened and trained. All
computer systems utilize customary industry security standards and are monitored
by trained professionals. Within the European Union all personal information is
respected by the EU Directives, and within Italy they are dealt with according
to the Italian Law 675/31st December 1996
- We will limit collection to only the information required
to participate on EISŪ trips. This information includes: name, address,
date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, gender, and emergency contact
name and phone number. We will also collect credit card information when
payments are made by credit card.
- We will collect all information explicitly. For example,
through electronic and paper forms. We do not use Internet cookies to
collect personal information. We do use cookies to keep track of customers
during their visits to this site so that they do not have to enter their user
name and password for every screen. Users who reject cookies may still use the
site, but their use may be limited.
- We will not reveal personal information to any third party
except: 1) when necessary to make a travel arrangement or procure a
service that is part of an EISŪ trip; 2) when required by law; or, 3) when an
adult customer has agreed to the disclosure or has previously been informed by
disclosure or agreement. We will not disclose information about children.
- Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support
services we require them to conform to our privacy standards.
- We attempt to keep customer information complete and
accurate. We collect information directly from our customers and make
every effort to maintain the accuracy of that information. Parents and guardians
must review and correct all personal information about their children by
contacting EISŪ.
- We must have personal information to arrange EISŪ
trips. Anyone wishing to delete their personal information will
necessarily cancel their participation on the EISŪ trip and will be subject to
the normal EISŪ cancellation policies. Simply contact your group leader or EISŪ
to cancel your trip and delete your information.
